Description:

The 5’11 70L Equalizer is the Goldilocks size of the lineup. It offers plenty of float to get intermediate to advanced riders up on foil, while remaining compact enough to pack a performance punch. Equally at home with a parawing or a wing, its relatively flat bottom provides rock-solid lateral stability. Meanwhile, the extended length and forward wide-point increase fore/aft stability, keeping the nose up during taxi and take-off. The wider, parallel outline gives you the freedom to utilize an offset stance for maximum rail-to-rail leverage.

The 5’11 70L features our no-expenses spared lamination. Lightweight EPS foam core, proprietary 3k Carbon Vacuum Lamination, and reinforced carbon fiber tracks.

  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Never leave your board sitting on the beach or grass exposed to direct sun. Raw carbon absorbs heat rapidly, which can cause severe thermal damage to lightweight cores.

  • Monitor Vehicle Heat: Avoid leaving boards inside sealed, unventilated vehicles during warm summer months.

I bought this board to learn to transition to para winging and in hopes I could still use it as a wing board. I was a bit reluctant because of the increased length and width vs my current wing board. I think it’ll be a good board to learn how to para on but why was I surprised what a great wing board it was! Sub 10 lb board sure makes a difference when you get it up and flying. Do fun! AND it pops off the water easier than my heavier smaller wing board. Stoked on the new shape and reduce swing weight! Great new shape Hydrocraft!🤙

I absolutely LOVE my 70L Equalizer! The size and shape are pretty much exactly what I was hoping to find. I'm coming from two 19" wide boards(60L and 100L) that I've been learning to parawing on and wanted something a little wider and a little flatter through the bottom to give me a bit more stability in the water and a bit more leverage on foil. The Equalizer does exactly that, it's super stable while in taxi mode and still gets up and goes easily enough that I can use a small parawing for the conditions and get going easily. The little bit of extra width doesn't seem to result in a significant speed penalty while starting and I really like how much room I have to offset my stance and manage the board roll with much more authority when I'm taking off and especially when on foil.

What I didn't expect was what a difference I would feel in the rigidity of the board and connection. It's unreal how much more control I have over my foil on this board, I honestly didn't think a board could make this much difference once on foil but it's undeniable. It's super rigid, light weight, and gets blown around a lot less than my other boards when on foil. Thanks Hydrocraft, I am so stoked on my board!
