Shipping policy

OVERVIEW At Hydrocraft, we take pride in building high-performance gear and getting it to you as safely and quickly as possible. Whether you are across the street in Hood River or across the ocean, here is how we handle your gear.


1. Domestic Shipping (USA)

We offer a variety of shipping methods to suit the size of your gear and your required delivery speed.

  • Carriers: We ship via USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.

  • Air Cargo: For oversized equipment (such as large boards or foil kits) that requires specialized handling, we offer Air Cargo services to ensure your gear arrives in peak performance condition.

  • Processing Time: Most in-stock orders are processed within [1–2] business days. Custom-built gear may have longer lead times as noted on the product page.

  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order leaves our Hood River shop.


2. International Shipping (Worldwide)

We are excited to ship our equipment to customers worldwide! We have upgraded our international process to ensure a smoother, faster, and more transparent experience.

  • No Surprise Fees (Guaranteed Landed Cost): We now offer a Guaranteed Landed Cost for international shipments. All applicable local taxes, VAT, and import duties are calculated and collected at checkout.

  • Seamless Delivery: Because these fees are paid upfront, your package will speed through customs. You will not be asked to pay any additional fees to the courier upon delivery. The total you see at checkout is the final amount you pay.

  • International Returns: Due to the heavy nature of our equipment and the complexities of international logistics, we do not accept returns on international orders. All international sales are final.


3. Not Sure What to Buy?

Since returns are not possible for international shipments, we want to help you get it right the first time.

  • Expert Advice: If you are unsure about which specific equipment suits your needs, please Schedule an Equipment Consultation with us before placing your order. Our team of foilers, kiters, and surfers is happy to guide you to the perfect setup.


4. Shipping Insurance & Claims

  • Risk of Loss: Once your package is handed over to the carrier, the title and risk of loss pass to the customer.

  • Damage in Transit: Please inspect your gear immediately upon delivery. In the rare event that your equipment arrives damaged, you must contact us at info@hydrocraftsystems.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the damage so we can assist with a carrier claim.


5. Local Pickup

If you are in the Hood River area, you can skip the shipping fees and select "Local Pickup" at checkout. We’d love to see you at the shop!
